Butterfield edges lower in New York

Bank boost: Butterfield shares rose for a third successive trading day on the BSX
No shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, leaving The Royal Gazette/BSX Index unchanged on 2,077.48.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell nine cents, or 0.32 per cent, to close on $28.07 on the New York Stock Exchange.
On the BSX, the bank last traded at $29.85.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 25.33 points, or 1.44 per cent, to close on 1,729.76.
