LOM shares gain 3.1% on BSX

Shares of investment firm LOM Financial Ltd rose 3.1 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading to reach a new 52-week high.
Ten thousand shares of LOM changed hands as the share price gained ten cents to close on $3.30.
LOM was the lone stock to trade on the BSX, as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 0.73 of a point to close on 2,600.63.
For the week, the index climbed 0.28 per cent, driven mainly by a 0.7 per cent increase in the value of Butterfield Bank shares.
Butterfield’s US-listed shares climbed 30 cents, or 0.77 per cent, to close on $39.22 on the New York Stock Exchange. The bank last traded at $38.25 on the BSX.
The BSX Insurance Index fell by 0.73 of a point on Friday to close on 1,805.08.
