Devonshire Industries jumps 30%

Shares of Devonshire Industries Ltd jumped 75 cents, or 30 per cent, to $3.25 after 1,200 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
Butterfield Bank fell $1.75, or 4.5 per cent, to $37.25 after 204 shares were exchanged. On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank's shares were up 89 cents, or 2.42 per cent, at $37.63.
The Royal Gazette/BEX Index was down 93.5 points, or 3.53 per cent, at 2,557.29, while the BSX Insurance Index improved 1.86 points, or 1.86 per cent, to 1,743.09.
The Bermuda Stock Exchange will be closed on Friday, in observance of the Bermuda Day public holiday. The BSX will re-open on Monday, May 31.
