A young woman is facing prison for importing $657,000 worth of heroin into Bermuda.Co-Shae Bartrum, 20, of Controversy Lane, Pembroke, brought the drugs in on May 23, 2010.Speaking after she pleaded guilty at Supreme Court yesterday, prosecutor Robert Welling said a prison sentence was “inevitable”.He did not outline the circumstances of the drug importation, but will do so when Bartrum is sentenced at a later date.Bartrum pleaded not guilty to a second charge of possessing heroin with intent to supply, which the prosecutor accepted.Puisne Judge Carlisle Greaves remanded her into custody, and she must return to court on March 1 for a sentence date to be fixed.
