A Pembroke man is alleged to have pulled out a knife and threatened another man while waiting in line at KFC on Queen Street, in Hamilton.
Darren Pitt, 38, of Woodlands Road, denied two charges of using threatening behaviour and a further count of uttering threatening words while inside the fast food restaurant on January 7, when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court today.
Mr Pitt is alleged to have pulled out a knife on Mr. Oliver Harvey, telling him “you’re dead”, prosecutor Cindy Clarke told the court.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr Pitt on $5000 bail with one surety.
He will reappear for mention on April 16.
