A Pembroke man has been accused of having a gun, drugs and more than $78,000 of criminal proceeds.

Jahdel Rogers, 36, appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with possessing a Smith and Wesson autoloading pistol, ammunition, cannabis, cocaine and $78,024, representing the proceeds of criminal conduct.

All of the offences are said to have occurred on November 12, 2016, and are said to involve more than 95g of cannabis and cannabis resin and 5.11g of cocaine freebase, commonly known as crack.

Mr Rogers was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard by the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released Mr Rogers on $100,000 bail with a like surety on the conditions that he surrender travel documents and report to the Hamilton Police Station three times a week.

The matter is expected to appear before the Supreme Court in April.
