Motorist charged with injuring two people on Front Street

A Warwick man has been charged in Magistrates’ Court with causing two pedestrians grievous bodily harm by riding his bike on Front Street without due care and attention.

Joshua Thompson, 28, denied the offences when he appeared in court yesterday, and chose to keep his case in Magistrates’ Court.

The incident, in which Emma Wetsel and Alexander Rodway claim injury, reportedly occurred on July 22.

Magistrate Craig Attridge adjourned the case to January 8 and released Mr Thompson on $5,000 bail until that time.
