A man has been charged with stealing almost $11,000 worth of gold jewellery.
Demar Taylor, 33, denied stealing four gold chains and three pendants from Gervan Johnson when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Mr Taylor, from Pembroke, allegedly stole the jewellery, valued at $10,900, on October 8, 2023. He chose to keep the case in Magistrates’ Court.
Magistrate Auralee Cassidy adjourned the case to June 9, released Mr Taylor on $5,000 bail and ordered him not to contact Mr Johnson.
