Academy team beat Trinity College

The Bermuda Cricket Board Academy team defeated Trinity College by 67 runs yesterday in a 30-overs-a-side match at Shelly Bay Field.
The Academy XI were dismissed in 30 overs with San’j Dill top bat with 27 not out and Casey Greene scoring 26. Jacobi Butterfield added 21 and Arnari Ebbin 11 as C. Worrel claimed three for 35 to lead the Trinity College bowlers. A. Alverex claimed two for 13 and R. Parris two for 21.
In reply, Trinity College could only manage 69 in 29 overs as Cameron Jeffers claimed three for seven, Jai-onni Outerbridge two for three and Chare Smith two for eight.
The two teams will meet again today in the second match at Shelly Bay starting at 1pm.
