Stabbed man dropped off at hospital

A man was taken to hospital at the weekend after he was stabbed several times.A police spokesman said the victim suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper body, but the injuries were not life-threatening.The victim was dropped off at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by three men at about 11.20pm on Sunday.The police spokesman said inquiries into the incident were continuing and he appealed for witnesses.Anyone with information should call 211, the main police number 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
