Homes burgled while occupants were out

A spate of house burglaries have been reported, with unoccupied residences targeted in each case.

A Hilltop Drive, Southampton residence was broken into on Thursday afternoon, with cash taken, while a flat screen TV and a piece of jewellery were stolen sometime during the day from an East Shore Lane, Sandys home.

A break-in was also reported from Cedar Avenue, Pembroke, where cash had been stolen at some point during Wednesday.

Police reminded the public to secure houses during the night and before leaving, even for short periods.
