Two arrests have been made in connection with an assault that took place at Northlands Primary School in Pembroke last Friday.

A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “The BPS wishes to thank the public for their assistance leading to these arrests.

“However, the BPS still wants to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident or who may have come to the assistance of the victim.“

The Ministry of Education said last week that two men entered the school grounds at about 3pm and “engaged in a violent act”.

Diallo Rabain, the Minister of Education, condemned the incident and said that no children were involved.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Detective Sergeant Seymour Foote on 717-2282, 247-1154, the main police number 295-0011 or the non-emergency reporting number 211.

Members of the public may also e-mail Sergeant Foote at sfoote@bps.bm
