Somersfield Academy is seeking a new head of school for the start of the 2016 academic year.

Three years after taking the post as the school set about enhancing its International Baccalaureate programme, Peter Harding announced he would retire in June 2016.

Somersfield’s board of governors has pledged transparency in the search for his replacement, having contracted the United States firm lnternational Schools Services.

Its search team will be led by Paul DeMinico, vice president for administrative searches, who will conduct an on-site review of Somersfield from April 20 to April 23.
