Bermuda riders Kayla Bardgett and Hannah Simmons were both victorious at this month’s inaugural Atlanta Youth Dressage Festival at the Georgia International Horse Park.

In their respective divisions, Bargett won her dressage test while Simmons came first in her equitation class, and was overall reserve champion in her division.

Both youngsters were competing on borrowed horses against competitors from Tennessee, Florida and Kentucky.

The competition consisted of three elements: a written test based on a particular reading assignment, a dressage test, and a dressage equitation class.
