Pembroke road closure at weekend

Cemetery Road next to the Belco power plant will be closed this weekend.
A trench will be dug between the firm’s old and new power stations in Pembroke, on the stretch between Cemetery Lane and the bridge next to Gorham’s hardware store.
No public access will be allowed and drivers and pedestrians were advised by the Ministry of Public Works to use alternative routes.
The road is scheduled to reopen next Monday.
