School arts winners receive prizes
The importance of creativity in the island’s youth was highlighted when winners of a school art competition received their prizes on Wednesday.
The winners of this year’s edition of the Mirrors Annual Art and Digital Competition were awarded prizes in various categories, with Mount Saint Agnes taking home the top school prize, the Government announced.
A total of 160 art entries and ten digital entries came in from students who explored and expressed what “home” meant to them through their art.
The entries came from primary, middle and high school pupils across the island, reflecting a variety of emotions and interpretations.
