The popular sports venue of White Hill Field got special attention from Somerset Bridge Recreation Club at the weekend to get it football-ready.
The members and friends of the club rolled up their sleeves on both days to spruce up the field and foster community spirit.
Teresa Burrows, the president of the club, said it had been “a pleasure to witness the growth of our club and its members”.
Youngsters joined the collective effort to cut the grass — and get the pitch ready for action.
