A major annual fundraising campaign has opened its registration for charities looking for a boost.

The 2026 Convex End-to-End is now accepting applications from non-profit organisations to receive funds from the next island-wide event.

On top of allocating $50,000 worth of proceeds to each of four charitable programmes, event organisers will introduce $10,000 grant opportunities for smaller charities.

Christen Styche, the chairwoman of the board, said: “We’re always inspired by the incredible projects put forward by local charities.”

She added: “The Convex End-to-End continues to be a powerful way for our community to come together and support meaningful causes across Bermuda.”

The Bermuda End-to-End offers grants to non-secular charities and programmes that support the Railway Trail and the wider Bermuda community.

Walkers, cyclists and rowers unite to trek from St George’s to Dockyard.

Ms Styche said: “We’re extremely grateful to Convex for returning as our title sponsor in 2026.

“Their continued support helps us host an outstanding event while ensuring local charities receive the funding they need to thrive.”

Charities this year must apply for a $10,000 or $50,000 allocation through the BermudaTix website or the Bermuda End-to-End’s website.

Final funding decisions are at the sole discretion of the End-to-End management team.

Successful applicants will be notified in December, with funding to be given after the 2026 event and End-to-End Awards Reception.

Theresa Hall, the End-to-End’s charity liaison, said: “We’re thrilled to open the 2026 grant window.

“Our online application through BermudaTix makes it simple for charities to apply and the new $10,000 grants mean even more organisations can benefit from the End-to-End’s support.”

Last year the End-to-End offered funding to Age Concern, Bermuda Audubon Society, Bermuda Red Cross, The Duke of Edinburgh International Award Bermuda and The Reading Clinic.

Further funding was given to St John’s Ambulance, Open Airways, the Horticultural Skills Programme and Warwick Academy for being the top fundraising school.

Amber’s Wings received the $10,000 Anne Mello Award for providing outstanding community support.

The 2026 End-to-End event will take place on May 2.

Applications must be submitted electronically by 5pm on October 30.
