Tomorrow’s Voices holds annual sip and paint fundraiser
An autism awareness and assistance charity will celebrate 18 years of service with a fundraiser involving wine and art.
The seventh annual Great Sip and Paint for Autism will make its return this Sunday in honour of Tomorrow’s Voices.
Thea Furbert, the charity’s board chairwoman and cofounder, said her organisation’s work had grown to help people from two years old all the way into adulthood — all thanks to public support.
She added: “The support of the community for events like The Great Sip and Paint for Autism help us continue this important work and we thank everyone for their support.”
Last year’s Sip and Paint attracted 75 participants, with funds helping the group’s therapeutic programmes.
DJ Fury will provide musical entertainment and the event will include dinner, dessert, an all-inclusive wine bar, henna tattoos and prizes.
Tickets will be available for $155 and can be bought at Tomorrow’s Voices’ website or by calling 197-4342.
