London Office to open book for tributes to Sir John Swan

Those living in Britain can pay tribute to the Bermuda’s longest serving premier from Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for the Cabinet Office said a book of condolence for Sir John Swan will be available at the Bermuda Government’s London Office at 6 Arlington Street until June 30.

Members of the public can sign the book at the office between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Those residing in Bermuda can sign a condolence book at the Cabinet Office at 105 Front Street also starting on Tuesday.

Members of the public are reminded that flags on all Bermuda Government buildings will be at half-mast until sundown on June 24, the day of Sir John’s funeral, and all government offices will close at midday on that day.
