Hale helps swallows defeat Longtails

Swallows 6 Jennifer Hale scored four times to help Swallows see off Longtails in the women’s hockey division.

Longtails 2

Kayla Kellman and Liz Stewart scored for Swallows, while Maha Clarke and Rebecca Gibbons added two more goals for Longtails.

Ravens 5

Budgies 0

Five different scorers propelled Ravens to their win over Budgies

Kristin Morbey opened the scoring in the sixth minute, before Megan Troake doubled the Ravens lead in the 40th minute.

Kristina Viera made it 3 — 0 two minutes later, and Katie Masters got in on the scoring act in the 48th minute.

Rising star Georgia Harris closed out the scoring in the 50th to complete the scoring.

Spartans 1

Upstarts 4

Donny Moniz and Colin Van Den Bosch both scored braces as Upstarts beat Spartans in the men’s division

Upstarts took the lead in the 24th minute when Donny Moniz scored, and Colin Van Den Bosch doubled the lead in the 31st minute.

Moniz got his second in the 54th, but not to be outdone Van Den Bosch scored his second two minutes later.

Donnie Simmons scored a consolation for Spartans in the 61st.
