Early goals lift Bermuda over Panama
Panama 0 Bermuda 4
Bermuda struck early and often, with all their goals coming in the first quarter as they maintained their unbeaten record at the Central American and Caribbean Games qualifiers in Kingston, Jamaica this morning.
Maya Palacio got the ball rolling in the eighth minute. Renee Greenslade struck in the eleventh minute for the first of three Bermuda goals in four minutes. Jasmine Patterson made it 3-0 two minutes later before Azari Thomas fired home Bermuda's fourth right at the end of the first period.
The victory gives Bermuda two wins and a draw without conceding a goal and they are guaranteed to remain in the top two by the end of play today. Jamaica, the only team to have started with two wins from two, face Guyana who, like Bermuda, have started with a win and a draw, at 1.30pm Bermuda time.
Guatemala face Puerto Rico at 11.30am. The live feed is shown here.
