Premier Paula Cox will be the guest speaker at Business Bermuda’s annual general meeting next month.The event, which will be held at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess on Thursday, March 3, between 12pm and 3pm, has ‘A Gobal View’ theme and will focus on the organisation’s work to spread the message worldwide about Bermuda as a top offshore jurisdiction.“Premier Paula Cox, through the years, has always provided tremendous support for the outreach efforts of Business Bermuda,” said Cheryl Packwood, CEO of Business Bermuda.“These efforts are now bringing new business into Bermuda and expanding our economy. Through continued work with Bermuda’s government, as we near the end of this global recession and enter a period of recovery, I am optimistic about Bermuda’s place in an ever-expanding global marketplace.“This is why this year, instead of bringing in an international guest speaker, we requested the Premier share her vision at our Annual General Meeting.
