KPMG in Bermuda is set to host its student networking event, K‑Nect, designed to introduce high school and university students to career opportunities within the financial services industry.

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 14, from 5:15 pm to 7pm at the firm’s offices at Crown House, 4 Par‑la‑Ville Road, Hamilton.

This year’s K‑Nect theme, “Dream big: careers without limits,” encourages students to explore the breadth of opportunities available across the industry.

The event is designed to provide a platform for students to connect with KPMG professionals, learn more about the firm, and gain valuable insight into potential academic and career pathways.

Over the years, K‑Nect has connected hundreds of students with industry professionals, helping to shape their understanding of internships, education, and employment opportunities. Students will get to enjoy food and fun giveaways while they network and learn more about KPMG.

Felicia Wilsen, KPMG partner and chairwoman of the Lift off Programme, said: “Our K‑Nect event is designed to help students build meaningful connections that extend well beyond the summer.

“It also provides a direct introduction to our Lift Off Programme, which supports Bermudian students through internships, work shadowing, and long-term career development.

“The evening offers both locally based students and those returning home an opportunity to engage in conversations and gain valuable insight into the skills and experiences that shape a career in financial services.”

At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Engage with career booths staffed by KPMG professionals to learn about various roles and potential career pathways

• Gain information about the Lift Off Programme, including work shadowing, summer internships, co-op placements, scholarships, and full-time opportunities

• Submit their resumes for review and consideration or feedback by KPMG’s human resources team

• Ask questions and learn more about the financial services industry in an informative and welcoming setting

• Enjoy refreshments and participate in interactive networking activities.
