April 20, 2011Dear Sir,We used to be famous for beaches and golf courses but, based on our present rate of gun murders, Bermuda is now running fourth in the world as the most gun murders per capita.Yet another sad statistic our Government will be hiding and covering up with double talk and rhetoric.Not all you everyday honest Bermudian realise that this Government is lining their own pockets at the expense of our children’s future.Where we are today with high unemployment, a billion dollars of debt and out of control gun violence is only the responsibility of our present Government, whichever way they try and spin it.Just ask yourself “was Bermuda a better place to live 13 years ago” because that is how long this Government has had to make it a better place... or as with most of us, has it gotten a lot worse?ANOTHER BERMUDIAN READY TO LEAVECity of Hamilton
