July 11, 2011Dear Sir,When is the Premier going to wake up to the reality that work permit term limits have already destroyed any confidence that international business had in Bermuda? The horse has bolted. Senior executives that Paula Cox is now trying to bribe with permanent residency are leaving en masse. All she has to do is ask the local freight forwarders who are shipping more full containers out of the Island than they are bringing in. Government was repeatedly warned about their stupid term limit initiative and now the exodus has started. The island is about to experience a “second coming” and its effect on the recession will be brutal. Empty rental units, less groceries purchased, lost tax revenue, fewer car sales, empty school rooms etc etc. The country urgently needs new leadership to stop this haemorrhaging. The current Government is totally dysfunctional and have proved time and time again they don't have a clue how to manage the economy.WHO'S KIDDING WHO?Warwick
