Very inconsiderate
July 9, 2011Dear Sir,This evening I had to pop in to Arnold's on St John's Road for two items. Driving my small, very sensible and economical Chevy Spark, I made the left turn into the driveway to go into the parking lot and was confronted with cars parked in an area clearly marked “No Parking” in large yellow letters, and a car attempting to get out of the driveway back onto the road. This happens with incredible frequency. All three cars were of the oversized SUV-type, so jutted well into the driveway making it impossible for two-way traffic to move in and out of said driveway as was intended.Upon parking my car in a bay in the spacious and nearly empty parking lot, I walked the 20 or so feet extra towards the driveway to purchase my items. I have, in the past, mentioned this matter to their management ... to little or no avail (obviously). I simply cannot understand why some people can be so inconsiderate to other drivers ... is it laziness (it is an extra 20 or so feet ... oh dear!), can they simply not read or are these folks just that damned important that they feel they can park anywhere they please?PUZZLED IN PEMBROKE
