Wake up People!
July 18, 2011
Dear Sir,
If something is not done immediately, “Poverty in Paradise” will not be a term that assumes a single lady with children. It will include half of the Island's population. How Premier Cox can justify spending $400,000 on advisers is shameful. After all that 'expensive expert advice', has anything improved? Things are actually getting more desperate every day! Premier Cox, do you read the paper? Gang activity is escalating now to housebreaking at gunpoint. Families are moaning about the price of rent, electricity, food, and transportation ... groaning about unemployment and no overtime. This situation is like throwing petrol on an existing fire.
WAKE UP PEOPLE! If your Government can't see the trouble, get rid of them and give yourself a fighting chance.
