Premier under pressure

February 12, 2012

Dear Sir,

Finally the Premier and Finance Minister has decided to take a pay cut. Why she did not take a pay cut from the inception when she was asked to do so along with the rest of her Ministers?

It looks as if the pressure is getting to her. I think the Premier sees what the next general election is going to hold, meaning the party that I am sure will take over and lead this Island out of the cloud that is hanging over us. There is too much covering up in a lot of areas. I really take off my hat to Ms Heather Jacobs-Matthews for investigating just what went on in Government during the reign of former Premier Dr Brown and the gutless Ministers that served under him as the PLP Government. The people of Bermuda, blacks and whites, are suffering.

There are quite a lot of us that forgot the words of the great lady in the name of the late Dame Lois Brown-Evans, and I will remind all of us, do not put Dr Brown in the top position he will take you all down, but her words were stumped on senseless minds. To Mr Burgess, you should resign before you fall in a deeper hole and can’t get out. The Premier should have fired you the moment you disrespected her but it appeared she did not have the spine to do so. That is where she showed weakness and you then felt unremovable.

CONCERNED VOTER To the Auditor General, please dig some more, maybe you will let us know some more that we all know nothing about.
