December 11, 2012Dear Sir,Kevin Comeau wrote a very long letter (November 23) in response to what is a essentially a secondary issue for me. My primary issue is this: I believe that the racial divide imposed on this society, and which still exists, is the most destructive thing that has ever happened to us. That racial divide was imposed and maintained by the white Community. Racism brutalises both the oppressed and the oppressor and poisons both the social and moral environment.I believe the OBA represents 95 percent of the white community, so whether it is or is not the old UBP, why would I vote for those who represent those who have, in my opinion, done so much damage to this community?EVA N HODGSONHamilton Parish
