March 16, 2013Dear Sir,To infer that The Royal Gazette fudges transparency would surely be unfair. Yet by providing the cover of anonymity our daily newspaper protects those of us who decline to ‘place pen’ in support of their convictions which is no less than contradictory for our newspaper whose every day goal and especially at present is to avidly seek and hunt down our badly needed fiscal transparencies. Accordingly, let The Royal Gazette be bold and retire anonymous letters with a concentrated promotion of Island-wide transparencies in their place!WILLIAM P SCOTTSouthampton
