I made a mistake

April 9, 2013

Dear Sir

I have to acknowledge a mistake I made recently in remarks that were a response to criticism of the One Bermuda Alliance’s first 100 days in office.

Included in a list of things I said the OBA had managed to accomplish during those first 100 days was an initiative that has yet to make it off the drawing board.

I said: “A longer school day has been expanded, to provide more time for sports, music, arts and remedial support.…#157;”

That was an idea embraced during the campaign, but that has not been brought into effect. I regret the error, which occurred despite quite a careful process of fact-checking,

Thaddeus Hollis

Chairman, One Bermuda Alliance
