May 13, 2013Dear Sir,I'm fed up with blatty bikes and barking dogs.I am a resident of Cox’s Hill and as of late I cannot get a minute of sleep. Someone riding a bike up around here that sounds as though a fighter jet or freight train is coming through. It's not enough that he starts it up at 6.30am, he must rev and rev and rev the engine to ensure everyone is wide-awake when he leaves. Then after he leaves, peace and quiet right? Not a chance, because the revving has now awoken every dog within a five-mile radius and the barking begins.Other countries have noise pollution laws on vehicles, why not here? Is there really any need for having a bike that loud?Or the barking dogs. It's a little dog, the yippie sounds it makes but it never ceases.Please can we start having a discussion about noise pollution?SLEEPYPembroke
