Cry me a river

May 16, 2013Dear Sir,After seeing a call for Minister Gordon-Pamplin to issue an apology, I had a great idea for revenue. The OBA should invest in Kleenex! They have a lot of tissues to pass over to the PLP with the perpetual crying and foot scuffing going on that side of the House. Could make some good money to put towards the massive debt the PLP created. I mean, every other week you have the PLP yelling for an apology. Firstly, many things the OBA are saying are true, so no need to apologize when speaking truth. Secondly, after the trash talk that PLP members have spewed forth and never uttered an apology, I think they look seriously hypocritical. Thirdly, Marc Bean when he took his role said the PLP would not argue for the sake of it yet as I said, it is constant whining going on his side of the House. Also, I don’t really understand how the PLP says OBA are promise breakers. You all forget how badly you botched up your 14 years in power. It has not even been a year of OBA rule. Unlike you all who inherited a surplus of money from the UBP, they inherited massive debt and high unemployment. At the end of the day, politics involves harsh rhetoric at times. If you can’t handle it, please step out of the ring as you may just be doing the Island a favour.ROBERT DAVIES JRMiami
