Dear SirSorry to be taking up so much space but...if the Regiment is so all-fired beneficial to Bermuda (...discipline, team-building and disaster recovery)....then I suggest we put their VERY expensive human capital to work. We may have seen disasters named Emily and Fabian but we ain’t seen nothing like that 14 year Tropical Cyclone Scott Brown Cox !!Look, as others have said, the Botanical Gardens is a shambles and I can assure you that Albouys Point, Barrs Bay Park, and virtually all of our roadsides are overgrown with grass and hedges. Give those soldiers a few lawn mowers and rakes and we’ll be looking spiffy in no time...and it won’t cost Bob Richards a dime that he isn’t already spending.I am not kidding...these are unbelievably great ideas!
