PLP are the party of the past

March 7, 2014

Dear Sir,

Isn't it ironic that members of the PLP and Union can make statements referring to the “Planation” and “Slavery”, but when anyone else justifies what the government of the day has been faced with, as far as repairing the mess (that would be the huge debt of the last (at least) 8 years created by the PLP), they are criticized for placing blame and living in the past.

The OBA are condemned for not resolving eight plus years of the PLP's debacles and immense over spending in the whole 14 months they've been in power.

My friends, it's going to take a LOT longer than a year to clean up this mess; and if we continue to have anarchy in the community, it ain't EVER going to get better. The last thing the PLP want is to see the OBA succeed.

We're climbing slowly from the fire back into the pan. Given a few more years we may even begin emerging from the fire place, but not if we fight each other tooth and nail and not if we return to those who threw us into the hot spot to begin with.

Stand strong OBA!
