A note of thanks

March 24, 2014

Dear Sir,

As the Zone Chairperson of The Lions Clubs of Bermuda, I would like to take this opportunity through your medium to thank the Bermudian public who gave so generously to our recent White Cane Tag Days held Friday, March 14, 2014 and Saturday, March 15, 2014.

A special thanks to the Corporation of Hamilton for giving us permission. Also to the Chamber of Commerce, HSBC Banks, Capital G and Butterfield Banks, all The Marketplace Supermarkets, The Supermart, Miles Market, Lindo's Group of Companies, Arnold's Markets, Harrington Hundreds, Gorham's Ltd, Phoenix Stores, other business owners/managers, Kiwanis Club, Orchid Charity Club, Sandys Community Centre, Summerhaven, Bermuda Regiment Junior Leaders, CedarBridge Academy, Victor Scott Primary School, other school students and their teachers, individuals, family and friends and the Lions members who offered our tags to the community from the various premises. This year we raised a total of $7,982.99.

Our prayer is that we will be able to continue to honour our motto “We Serve”, and to help our children, adults and especially our Seniors who need assistance with Eye Exams and glasses. Once again Thank You Bermuda.
