How dare PLP leader judge anyone
May 27, 2014
Dear Sir,
Can you believe the latest utterance from the Opposition Leader? From where he sits now, and formerly as a Cabinet Minister who collectively put Bermuda in the most disgracefully financial predicament in its history, how can he have the audacity to call the Government morally bankrupt.
How does this kind of “Banter” become permissible under the Speaker’s nose? Marc Bean has got some crust to accuse anyone else’s integrity, when he has clearly no leg to stand on.
When he speaks – he is antagonistic and disrespectful. He lacks the savvy and image of a leader. He acts more like a rebel backbencher. His command of the English language is atrocious, and is a prime example of problems exhibited by a number of students, who lack communication skills when they enter the work force.
In the House his ability to listen to, and digest, subject matter that are slightly unsavory he interjects at every opportunity with contempt and slang that helps the level of debate to its present all time low.
He is obviously driving on his own agenda – which seems far removed from his party’s colleagues and PLP mandate.
It’s time to move this Island in the direction that it is desperately looking for.
It amazes me that in a Parliament where the Motion to Adjourn is given more time than the set Agenda.
One really has to wonder where we are headed.
