More and more marches

July 27, 2014

Dear Sir,

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

No one means all he says, and yet very few say all they mean, for words are slippery and thought is viscous. —Henry Brooks Adams, historian (1838-1918)

Many politicians and social activists know the words to a song yet it doesn’t make them a singer. Here we in Bermuda are seeing more and more marches against the Government for purposes uncalled for because many issues need to be handled by those elected by the public and need be discussed in either the House of Assembly or the Cabinet Building and not on the streets like dirty rags upon a clothesline. What do “they” mean when speaking out of both sides of their mouths? The PLP/Opposition will do anything to disrupt progress.

Progress will hinder them ever becoming the leading party. There are countless people who are like blind mice and, “can’t see the trees for the forest.” I believe the One Bermuda Alliance are our/ Bermuda’s only true hope of getting this Island back up on its feet…that’s my feelings.
