The Packwood Home in Somerset held its first tag day on October 9, 10 and 16.

We wish to publicly thank the many volunteers, including family members of the Packwood Home residents, members of the Sandys Rotary Club and the trustees, who tagged on the respective days, and especially the generous and enthusiastic public.

We also acknowledge the kindness of the various businesses who allowed the use of their premises to sell tags: HSBC bank in Somerset and Church Street, Hamilton; Butterfield Bank in Somerset and Reid Street, Hamilton; Lindo’s Group in Warwick, The MarketPlace in Somerset, Heron Bay and Hamilton; and Maximart in Somerset. Please be assured that all of the funds donated will be used to purchase much-needed items for the benefit of the home’s seniors. We are most grateful to all.
