Dear Sir,

Your headline that I made a mistaken accusation about Jonathan Land Evans’s book is false. I never said anything about his book, I did not see his letter on February 15 and did not know that he was an author.

My point is that Pitt and Wooding commissions and the Clark Report called for immigration reform. Mr Evans does not think that the reforms called for were specific to voter manipulation. He has a right to his opinion, but I will stand by mine.
