SunLife office has shut with no notice
Dear Sir,
I have had an insurance policy with SunLife Financial since very young.
Recently, I moved apartments. I called 293-6874 several times to advise my insurance agent of my change of address.
I received no response. I have tried contacting SunLife Financial on numerous occasions and still no response. I contacted the overseas office and questioned them regarding the status of SunLife Financial in Bermuda.
After asking a few times, I was finally informed there is no longer an office in Bermuda.
SunLife Financial in Canada never contacted me.
Unbelievable. I never received a letter from SunLife Financial advising me that the Bermuda office has closed.
I find this very unprofessional, irritating and frustrating, just to name a few.
SunLife e-mailed the change-of-address form to me, which I filled out, and they advised me I should receive a confirmation e-mail from them when the amendments have been completed. After one month, I will be contacting them again for the status of my mail/e-mail, which they should be sending.
It will be interesting to hear from other people who may be in the same situation.
