As a visitor to the island, it was with interest that I read Khalid Wasi’s opinion piece in the October 11 Royal Gazette.

This phenomenon is not just a Bermuda occurrence but a global one, as highlighted in Sarah Chayes’s recent book Thieves of State: Why Corruption Threatens Global Security (2015 New York Times Bestsellers list.)

It is worth a read.
