Dear Sir,

I am writing to say thank you for publishing my letter about the disgraceful state of the access road to the Rockaway ferry.

Obviously, someone saw this and took some action, as for the past week we have had a crew up there clearing everything.

They have done a wonderful job and should be congratulated on the work they have done. They were still working there this morning (Dec 8) and no doubt will be tomorrow as there was so much to be cleared.

To the person who organised this, a heartfelt thank you from those of us who use that road and the ferry.
