Dear Sir,

The time has surely come when something needs to be done about the flying of kites with hummers. Those of us who live in the Khyber Pass area of Warwick have had yet another Saturday ruined by the whine of a kite since 8am. It’s not over yet at 7pm and is almost certain to be going through the night.

I cannot imagine how the housebound or sick feel having to listen to this constant noise, which can be heard even with doors closed and the television on. Believe me, if I could trace it, I would cut the damn thing down.

When something such as this invades your home, surely it can be considered a public nuisance and should be dealt with as such.
