Bar goers are saying arrivederci to Ferrari Bar and hola to Margarita’s Grill this week as the Bermudiana Road bar takes on a new look and name.Now named after the salty sweet Mexican cocktail, the lounge is offering up pitchers of margaritas, buckets of beer and Samuel Adams on tap along with daily special drink prices. With new outdoor furniture, new bright paint colours and signage and interior decor changes, the new theme is looking to have a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere.For now, the bar will be open from 5pm to 10pm Monday-Friday.Starting in late June, house DJ Danielle Paynter will be providing the entertainment for Margarita Grill Club, which will stay open from 10pm until 2am on Saturdays.Ms Paynter was recently featured in The Royal Gazette as the brains behind a new DJ course that saw five students learn from a Canadian turntable expert.Eventually, the bar will offer lunch featuring burgers, sandwiches and chowder as well as dinner options.Ferrari Bar opened several years ago but closed after Christmas last year. Starting in April, the bar was open for happy hour on Fridays.The new Margarita’s Grill is located on 12 Bermudiana Road.
