Seminar to focus on financial issues for medium-sized businesses
KPMG and the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) are hosting an informative and interactive seminar today to provide insight into financing issues faced by medium-sized businesses in Bermuda.Entitled “Bank Financing in Today’s Environment”, the panel discussion features representatives from Butterfield Bank, Capital G as well as HSBC and moderated by Michelle Khaldun, executive director of the BEDC. Also in attendance will be Dr Grant Gibbons, Minister of Economic Development as well as KPMG managing directors Craig Bridgewater and Steve Woodward.The session is geared toward medium-sized businesses, which are defined as meeting at least three of the criteria: Annual revenue of between $1 and $5 million; maximum net assets of $7.5 million, annual payroll between $0.5 and $3 million and between ten and 50 employees; Bermudian owned and operated; and not dominant in their market sector.Refreshments will be served.The seminar will be held at KPMG Offices at Crown House, 4 Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton from 3:30pm — 6pm.
