Digicel invites community to ‘Make a Wish’

Telecommunications firm Digicel is inviting everyone to “make a wish” to reward someone they believe deserves it.

The Christmas #GetGifted campaign opens today and allows any resident, including those who are not Digicel customers, to wish a gift for the people in their lives they would like to thank, celebrate or generally bring some goodwill and cheer to.

“One wish every weekday from December 5 to 23 will be granted, with the lucky beneficiary receiving a gift courtesy of Digicel,” the company said in a statement.

“The gifts include a 50-inch Samsung smart television, spa voucher, dinner for four, travel vouchers, grocery certificates, one-month gym membership and much more.”

To participate, enter through the MyDigicel app or text ‘WISH' to 3336.

“Visitors to the site can wish on as many gifts as they want, for as many people as they want,” Digicel stated. “At the end of each gifting day, a winner will be randomly selected from the wishes submitted for that gift and announced the following day. Winners can then collect their gift from the Digicel store.”

Make a Wish: Digicel is inviting people to propose someone whom they would like to see receive a gift in the run-up to the holiday season
