Appleby takes top rung in legal Caribbean guide

Appleby has received top rankings in the 2022 Legal 500 Caribbean Guide. Legal 500, one of the leading international legal directories, has been analysing the capabilities of law firms across the world for more than 40 years.

Appleby is the only firm in Bermuda ranked in Tier 1 in all of these categories, the law firm said.

Appleby’s Bermuda office earned a Tier 1 ranking in all six categories entered: Banking, Finance & Capital Markets, Corporate & Commercial, Insurance/Reinsurance, Dispute Resolution, Regulatory & Compliance, and Trusts/Private Client.

The rankings are based on feedback from 250,000 in-house peers, client feedback and independent assessment of law firms’ deals and cases.

Legal 500 has recognised 35 lawyers across the six practice groups, with 16 lawyers specifically ranked in the Leading Individuals, Next Generation Partners or Rising Stars categories.

Tim Faries, Bermuda managing partner of Appleby, said, “We are very pleased with our Tier 1 rankings across so many practices and specialisations, and appreciate the praise and recognition by Legal 500, our clients and referrers. Thank you to our exceptional team for their expertise, excellence and steadfast dedication.”
