Kemilah Swan joins Trott & Duncan as associate
Trott & Duncan Ltd has appointed Kemilah Swan as an associate in the firm’s Property and Estates Department.
The firm said Ms Swan has a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly in high-value residential transactions, commercial property acquisitions, and urban regeneration projects.
Before joining Trott & Duncan, she served as an attorney at the Land Title Registration Office in Bermuda, where the firm said she showcased her adeptness in handling complex land title registrations, resolving cases of lost title deeds and settling boundary disputes.
The firm said: “Her positive contributions did not go unnoticed, earning her a secondment in London with the bi-borough shared legal service between The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster City Council. Here, she further honed her skills, acting on behalf of property developers and participating in significant acquisitions and leasing ventures.”
In her new role, Ms Swan will focus on the acquisitions of commercial and residential properties, advising local financial institutions, and managing a broad spectrum of property and estate planning affairs.
She said: “I am excited and eager to bring my experience and insight to Trott & Duncan, a team known for its rigorous commitment to excellence and client care.
“With the support of my colleagues, I am confident we can continue to navigate complex legal landscapes and deliver results that not only meet, but exceed, our clients’ expectations.
“Additionally, I look forward to crafting solutions that are not only legally sound but also strategically advantageous, ensuring our clients are set up for long-term success.”
A spokesman for the firm said: “Her extensive background, especially her invaluable experience with the LTRO and her work in London, aligns perfectly with our mission to provide creative and practical solutions to our clients.
“Her commitment to excellence and client satisfaction is exactly what T&D represents. We are confident that she will be an instrumental part of our continued success.”
